Description

Photographer: en:User:Ballista

Taken in the Steam Museum, Swindon

HISTORICAL NOTE: It is a correct GWR livery (I would guess), but on the wrong vehicle.
The GWR did use Mechanical Horses, the predecessor to these (with much squarer, wooden cab). This model, the Scarab, did not appear until 1948, after the GWR had been nationalised, and hence the GWR could not possibly have used them.
