laborersfor the term of four years commencing on their arrival on theirfarm in that country, on condition that they receive for the out-going and return voyages a gratuity hereafter specified and onpain of all their monthly wages and effects if they leave their service(before the end) of their term, or if they obtain any furs ofbeavers, otters or like animals by trade, gift or exchange, whichthey have expressly agreed not to do; and in case they are askedby their farmer to do any other work besides farming, such asfelling of trees or other work which they are able to do, they maynot refuse it but must diligently and willingly do everything andalso serve under such farmer as the patroon shall direct. Hendrich frerixsen Van bunnick, 26 years old, shall receive120 guilders a year and a pair of boots once in four years and as agratuity for the passage 25 guilders. Cornelis Jacopsen van Marttensdijck, 23 years old, shall re-ceive 110 guilders and as a gratuity for the passage 25 guilders.
