Description
Deutsch: Im Hof des Palazzo dei Conservatori:
Reliefs mit Darstellungen (Personifikationen) von Provinzen, Regionen und/oder Völkern des Römischen Reichs.
Fundort: aus dem 145 geweihten Hadrianeum = Tempel des vergöttlichten Kaisers Hadrian in Rom.
Es sind 23 solcher Reliefs (ggf. in Fragmenten) nachgewiesen. Dazu gehören 9 weitere Reliefs mit Waffendarstellungen, die wohl zwischen den figürlichen Reliefs angebracht waren. Die Kleidung und Attribute der Personifikationen ermöglichen hypothetische, aber letztlich nicht gesicherte Benennungen.
  • Hier: Waffen (Trophäen) – zwei Schilde, zwei Lanzen und eine Axt.
