Description
Deutsch: Schloss Ammerland, im Hintergrund der Wirm See (Starnberger See). Kupferstich, Michael Wening, aus Historico topographica descriptio Bavariae, 1701. Das Schloss wurde von Caspar Feichtmayr (Wessobrunner Schule) um 1680 erbaut und von en:Franz Graf von Pocci von 1842 bis zu seinem Lebensende als Sommersitz genutzt.
English: Ammerland castle with Starnberger See (at that time called Wirm See). Kupferstich, Michael Wening, aus Historico topographica descriptio Bavariae, 1701. The castle was built by Caspar Feichtmayr from Wessobrunner Schule by c. 1680. From 1842 until his death in 1876, it was the summer residence of Franz Graf von Pocci, who introduced en:Kasperle Larifari to puppet theatre by writing some 40 plays.
