Deutsch: Mehrere Tage hatte eine dünne Schneeschicht die Gegend bedeckt. Darunter waren bedeckte Tage mit Frost sowie sonnige kalte Tag. Die Aufnahme entstand abends. Nahegelegene Wasserpfützen waren morgens noch fest gefroren, zum Zeitpunkt der Aufnahme aber völlig aufgetaut. Der Himmel war bedeckt. Die Aufnahme entstand an einer steilen Böschung am Rand eines Ackers am Gemmenicherweg in Aachen. Das hier sichtbare Eis war einige Tage zuvor noch locker weißer Schnee. Während der Aufnahmezeit wehte ein starker Westwind, die Luft war spürbar feucht-kalt. |
