Description
Deutsch: „Flüsterspiegel“ (hier auf 684 m.ü.M. beim Fallersee aufgestellt) sind eine Möglichkeit zur akustischen Geräuschübertragung (akustische Reflexion). Die Parabolspiegel sind 90 m auseinander aufgestellt und dienen sowohl als Sender und auch Empfänger. Je höher die Frequenz des Geräusches (z.B. Sprache) ist, desto besser ist der Empfang. In Schnifis, Vorarlberg, Österreich.
English: "Whisper reflector" - Acoustic mirror (here at 684 m asl at Lake Fallers) are a possibility for acoustic noise transmission (acoustic reflection). The parabolic reflector are placed 90 m apart and serve both as transmitter and receiver. The higher the frequency of the noise (e.g., speech), the better the reception.
