Description
Nederlands: Achtendertig metalen schalen schitteren aan de kopgevel van Groeneveen. Sommige schalen zijn voorzien van afbeeldingen van stadssilhouettendaken, torens en telefoonkabels. De ongeordende beelden constrasteren sterk met de wiesde wolkenluchten en vooral ook met de utopische ordening van de oude Bijlmerarchitectuur. Pailletten, ook wel lovertjes genoemd maken deel uit van een wandkleed of kledingstuk. Behalve als versielsels zijn ze ook bedoeld om te beschermen tegen "kwade krachten of machten"; de spiegelende oppervlakte kunnen het onheil terugkaatsen... 2000, kunstenaar: Rein Jelle Terpstra Materiaal: roestvast staal en folie.
