Summary edit
DescriptionSea Cloud (3215637116).jpg |
Sea Cloud is a four-masted, 30-sail tall ship. She was originally commissioned by the tycoon E.F.Hutton for his wife, the heiress Majorie Merriweather Post, in the late 1920s. At the time, and even today, she is one of the finest and most opulent sailing ships in the world. One of the largest sailing ships in the world, the Sea Cloud is 360 feet in length. Her masts reach a height equivalent to that of a 20-storey building and 32,000 square feet of canvas unfurl to create one of the most magical marine sights imaginable. |
