English: Sea wall at Hamford Water The tidal flats to the right are part of the Hamford Water National Nature Reserve. The seawall originally dates from the C14th and it has been suggested that it follows such a sinous course because the builders followed the lines of the sheep trods through the marshes as these showed where the land was solid enough to build upon. |
