Summary edit
DescriptionSeattle - harbor view from Smith Tower 1915.jpg |
Harbor view from Smith Tower, Seattle, Washington, c. 1915. The second pier from the left, with the tower, is the Colman Dock, site of today's Washington State Ferry terminal. The thicker smokestack is the Post Ave. steam plant, still there as of 2008, as are most (though not all) of these buildings. For further orientation, if you know Seattle today: the light-colored building at left is the Mutual Life Building; the building roughly in the center where you can see courtyard windows is the Lowman Building; and the tall building at right is the Hoge Building. |
