Description |
English: Looking north on Second Avenue, Seattle, Washington, U.S., from Yesler Way. Picture was published December 1903. Hotel Seattle at left, then Butler Block (the lower two stories of which survive as of 2022 as part of the Butler Garage) and then the Bailey Building (still extant 2022 as the Broderick Building). At right, the ad for Wilson's Modern Business College is on the still-extant Collins Block. A block past that, the large building is the New York Block, demolished in the 1920s to build the Dexter Horton Building. |
