Title
English: Seattle family outside wood frame house, ca. 1895
Description
English:

In the 1890s, at least part what is now Seattle's Central District was still rural. This photo from that time period shows a family outside their wood frame home at 193 20th Avenue in Seattle. This would place the house somewhere near what is now the intersection of 20th Avenue and Spruce Street. The young girl in the plaid dress has been identified as Alice Comfort.

On verso: 193 - 20th Seattle. Alice Comfort second from left.
