Summary edit

Description The Sega BOX, the display hardware used for virtual ride The Crypt at the Tokyo Joypolis. The BOX was a variation on the CAVE virtual reality system; it had no interaction by users, but did provide distinct, tracked, stereoscopic images for two simultaneous viewers. The black cube to the right is the transmitter for the electromagnetic tracking system (presumably an Ascension Flock of Birds).
