Українська: Космічне зображення отримане з супутника Sentinel-2 демонструє масштаби паводку на заході України — стихійного лиха, що сталося влітку 2020 року через інтенсивні грозові дощі, в результаті якого відбулося різке підняття рівня води в річці Дністер. Пік повені припав на 24-25 червня та перевищив масштаби аналогічного стихійного лиха 2008 року. Знімок затопленої території в межах Галицького району Івано-Франківської області синтезований у «штучних кольорах» отримано з веб-інструменту з відкритим кодом для перегляду, візуалізації та аналізу супутникових зображень EO-browser створеного в рамках проекту Copernicus. Вода на знімку ідентифікується за жовтим кольором, так як несе велику кількість дрібних порід вимитих під час дощу, рослинність зелена і хмари білі.
English: The space image obtained from the Sentinel-2 satellite shows the scale of the flood in western Ukraine - a natural disaster that occurred in the summer of 2020 due to intense thunderstorms, which resulted in a sharp rise in water levels in the Dniester River. The peak of the flood fell on June 24-25 and exceeded the scale of a similar natural disaster in 2008. The image of the flooded territory within the Galician district of Ivano-Frankivsk region synthesized in "natural colors" was obtained from an open-source web-based tool for browsing, visualization and analysis of satellite imagery of the EO-browser created as part of the Copernicus project. The water in the picture is identified by its yellow color, as it carries a large amount of fine sludge washed away during the rain, the vegetation is green and the clouds are white.
