Description
English: Sheltering at Bangor (1) High winds, on 30 November and 1 December 2006, caused a number of fishing boats to seek the shelter of Bangor harbour. Bangor is close to the entrance to Belfast Lough and has sufficient depth of water to accommodate most of the boats fishing in that part of the Irish Sea. Left to right they are the trawlers/scallopers “Constant Friend”, “Spaven Mor”, “Maureen Patricia”, “Bonnie Lass III” and “Marigold”, at the Central Pier. See also 287557.
