English: Sherman M4A3E8 Medium Tank and General Patton shop van on display at the George S. Patton Museum of Leadership at Fort Knox, KY. Both are featured prominently in the museum's WWII gallery. The Shop Van is a U.S. Army CCKW small-arms repair truck and converted into a mobile living quarters for General Patton in WWII. It was sent to Fort Knox for display at the Cavalry and Armor Museum and has remained on display in a museum or indoors since 1947. |
