English: Shetland Kale in Kaleyard, Huxter, Whalsay, Shetland. The last few kale left from last year's planting, will be fed to sheep soon. The Shetland Kale (Cabbage) is recognisable by having its heart at the top of a thick stalk about 30-35 cm long.
In the background over the dyke at the far end, is the Ward of Hevdafield. |
