Description
English: This mosque is located in the centre of Stone Town, near the Kiponda area. The building is also referred to as the Aga Khan Jamat Khanna Mosque.It is a worship place for Ismaili /shia Muslims sometimes referred as khoja shia ithnasheri .They are originally from Kutch district in Gujarat state, India. They converted from Hinduism to Isma'ili Shia and in the early 1870s, they converted to Twelver Shia (Ithna-'Ashari).
