Summary edit

Description
English: Site of Crossford Station
The trackbed of the Cairn Valley Light Railway, Passenger services only operated between 1905 and 1943. In the 1990s there was some talk of reopening the railway to export timber from Galloway and Nithsdale's vast Sitka forests. I doubt this was ever serious.
