yrer utvecklat något af Comedia-deirarte-lynnet. Ihans Ah che boccone! — Hvilken munsbit! — (bild 80) införesman i den atmosfär af lystet gyckel, som är karakteristisk för denhvitklädde, hvitmenade skämtaren Pierrot, hvilken till en vissgrad är sig lik genom tiderna, men som dock får olika tidsfärg —under 1600-talet öfverdrifvet bombastisk, under 1700-talet kvickoch sensuell, under romantiken känslosam. Främst bland 1700-talets erotiska tecknare var HONOREFragonard (1732—1806), född i Grasse i Syd-Frankrike. Hanbredde ett skimmer af oskuld öfver äfven de mest vågade situa-tioner. En älsklig skämtbild med ämne ur en af Lafontainesfabler är Le pot au lait, flickan som bygger luftslott och räknarut hvad hon skall köpa för det hon skall förtjäna på sin mjölk.Det skall bli oxar, får och höns! Hon snafvar, spiller ut mjölken,och hela hennes ladugårdsidyll går upp i rök. Hon ser så näpenut, där hon ligger, att man tar olyckan med ro. (Bild 81.) 93
