Summary

edit
Description
English: Small Red Damselfly (Ceriagrion tenellum) This species is typical of wet heathland and boggy areas so is quite rare nationally but fairly easy to find in the New Forest where this habitat is fortunately quite common. It can be told from the Large Red Damselfly by the all red abdomen and completely bronze thorax.
