| Description |
English: Small pond on the heath, north of Pilley Bailey, New Forest This pond has been artificially created - the spoil from the pit surrounds the pond. There are many such watering holes on the heathland of the New Forest. It is quite low at the moment, after a very dry spring. There are some young newts in the pond, as well as numerous invertebrates. |
