Title
English: Snoqualmie Falls, ca. 1889
Description
English: Many photographers have tried to capture the beauty of Snoqualmie Falls. Sometime around 1889, Seattle photographer William Boyd set up his camera on a viewpoint near the falls and snapped this image. By this time, the Seattle, Lake Shore and Eastern Railroad had been built through the Snoqualmie Valley, and it was easier for tourists to visit the falls. The railroad bed can be seen above the falls, on the south side of the river.
