| Description |
English: Solomon's Track Mapped as Solomon's Track, it is obviously an ancient way much older than the modern grading which this section has received. But what was it originally for? It is tempting to assume that this was the old road to Snilesworth, the modern road to Hawnby being built about 1900. But I have the old road crossing south of Miley Pike (SE487964) which is off the line of this track and which would miss Chequers (SE475970), an old inn on the Drove Road. |
