Description
Deutsch: Westsüdwestansicht der Kirchensiedlung Sonntagberg auf einem 712 Meter hohen Bergrücken mit der Basilika zur Heiligen Dreifaltigkeit und zum hl. Michael in der niederösterreichischen Marktgemeinde Sonntagberg.
Die barocke Basilika in weithin sichtbarer, dominierender Lage zählt zu den markanten Wahrzeichen des Mostviertels. Sie wurde von 1706 bis 1732 nach Plänen der Barockbaumeistern Joseph Munggenast (1706–1717) und Jakob Prandtauer (1718–1732) errichtet und 1729 geweiht.
