Description
English: South Circle stones, Avebury Sarsen stones in the South Circle viewed from the south-east quadrant bank. The large (or "Great") circle at Avebury contains two smaller circles (the North and South circles). From left to right, the stones are numbered 103, 102, 101 and 105. The small concrete post marks the position of missing stone number 104. The tower of St James' church is in the background.
