Summary edit

Description
English: John Spooner, of this parish, suggested "In commemoration of Ireland's first track cycling medal since 1896, (a silver won by Martyn Irvine two weeks ago in Minsk, followed an hour later by a gold) how about a picture with some bicycles..."

Presenting therefore the South Eastern Wheelers from Waterford Bicycle Club! Think that this photo was ordered by a Mr Keane, perhaps of Henrietta Street, Waterford.

As to the silverware, from what I can make out of the wording: Squat one on the ground (middle) = The "Tyler" Challenge Cup, 1909 Tall one on the ground (right) = South Eastern Wheelers One on stand (right) = W B C South of Ireland Challenge Cup

Date: Sunday, 4 July 1909
