English: AG2 Nicholas Wissler (left Jet Ski), lead technician; AG3 Tonja Boyle (right Jet Ski), technician; and Lt .Larry Gulliver (front of boat), expeditionary division officer, all of the Fleet Survey Team, U.S. Navy, move equipment from the USNS Henson to the Colombian Naval Base, Cartagena, Colombia, during Oceanographic Southern Partnership Station 10 with assistance from members of the Colombian Navy. The FST members will demonstrate shallow water survey techniques using the Jet Skis during O-SPS10. O-SPS 10 is a joint project being conducted to demonstrate current oceanographic and hydrographic technologies and capabilities of the U.S. Navy, to share information on conducting military oceanographic surveys in various environments between members of the CIOH staff and the crew of the Henson and to strengthen ties between each country's military. |
