Tarragona is much less often visited than it deserves,as it possesses not only an almost unique survival in its Cyclopean Walls,but also, in the Cathedral, a noble specimen of mediaeval architecture.Those who wish to see all that the town has to offer, as well as the RomanAqueduct (p. 281), the Tomb of the Scipios (p. 274), and the Portal de Bard(p. 274), may pass two or three days here with pleasure and profit. Thosewho devote only one day to Tarragona should walk from the station bythe Paseo de Santa Clara (p. 276; views) to the Puerta de San Antonio (p. 276),and afterwards visit the Cathedral (p. 277), with its cloisters, the Cyclopean-Roman Walls (p. 280), and the Museum (p. 280).
