Deutsch: Vorderseite: ALBERTVS ET ELISA-BET DEI GRA-TIA ARCHI-DVCES. Albert und Elisabeth auf dem Thron sitzend von vorn, unten im Abschnitt Jahreszahl 1616.

Rückseite: AVSTRIAE DVCES BVR-GVNDIAE BRABANT [AE ligiert]. Titelwiedergabe in der Umschrift, im Feld gekröntes mehrteiliges Wappen, umgeben vom Goldenen Vlies.

Kommentar: Albert und Isabella (1598-1621) waren die Regenten der spanischen Niederlande. Albrecht VII. von Österreich (auch Albert) wurde 1559 als Sohn Kaiser Maximilans II. geboren. Er heiratete die Infantin von Spanien, Isabella Clara Eugenia, geboren 1566 in Segovia, gestorben 1633 in Brüssel, die Tochter Philipps II. von Spanien. Beide waren Mäzene des Malers Peter Paul Rubens. Isabella bemühte sich nach dem Tode des Gatten besonders um Friedensverhandlungen mit den von Spanien abgefallenen nördlichen Niederlanden.
