Description
Nederlands: Gezicht op het spoorwegemplacement van Maastricht, gefotografeerd vanaf de toren van in 1879-1880 gebouwde Villa Wyckerveld in Maastricht. Rechtsonder een stukje van de Meerssenerweg. Op de voorgrond een loods. Op de achtergrond het toenmalige Station Staatsspoor. Rechts daarvan, half verscholen achter twee kleine gebouwtjes, het station van de Grand Central Belge (spoorlijnen naar Luik, Hasselt en Aken). Het huis links van het Station SS lag ongeveer op de hoek van de Parallelweg en de Sint Maartenslaan.
