Description
English: Spring Squill (Scilla verna) The pale star-shaped flowers of Spring Squill carpet the machair of the golf course on Barra. This is a member of the lily family and a close relative of the Wild Hyacinth (English Bluebell). It is found only on sea cliffs in the north and west of Britain, and in the north and east of Ireland.
