English: Spring is creeping in. A Haft-Seen table (a tabletop arrangement of seven symbolic items traditionally displayed at Nowruz, the Persian new year), symbolically represents spring arrival. Sabzeh, which is fresh sprouting seeds, is the first item on any Haft-Seen table and represents rebirth.
This year for spring arrival, I planted lentil seeds and photographed them for 5 days and nights as they sprouted. This is the final result after stitching all the pictures together. It is much better than my expectation. |
