AN OLD COURTYARD AT CHATEL GUYON A/rONT DORE (Puy de Dome). Altitude 3400 feet.-*- ■*• Connected by funicular railway with the station ofMont Dore. There are twelve springs varying in temperature from104 to 112 degrees F. and containing arseniate of sodiumand bicarbonate of iron; the thermal establishment re-built in 1893 is equipped with every modern appliance. TREATMENT—Internal and external. RECOMMENDED in cases of gout, rheumatism, ar-thritis, certain stages of diabetes, affections of the vocaland respiratory organs, bronchitis, laryngitis, asthma, etc. SEASON—From the 15th of June to the 1st of Sep-tember. Hotels, villas and furnished apartment houses; numer-ous excursions. Distance from Paris 287 miles via Paris, Lyons &Mediterranean Ry. 60

TREATMENT—Internal and external. RECOMMENED in cases of arthritis, anaemia, rheu-matism and gout, diabetes, urinary affections, diseases ofthe respiratory organs, skin diseases, dyspepsia, gastritisand cardiac affections. SEASON—From the 25th of May to the 1st of October. Good hotels. Casino, theatre, numerous excursions in the neighbor-ing mountains. Royat is about 1^ miles distant from Clermont andconnected by electric tramway with that town. Distance from Paris 278 miles via Paris, Lyons 85Mediterranean Ry. ST. NECTAIRE (Puy de Dome), situated at an altitudeof 2500 feet. There are three thermal establishments; the watersare alkaline and contain iron. The springs are dividedinto two groups, those of St. Nectaire le Haut and St. Nectaire le Bas. TREATMENT—Internal and external. RECOMMEN
