Description

Two-piece suit of Russian grey sqirrel, dyed and shorn / Russisch Feh-Kostüm (gefärbt und geschoren). Germany, September 2007.

Die gefärbten Fehrückentafeln wurden vor der Weiterverarbeitung ungleich hoch geschoren, jede Tafel verlaufend nach oben tiefer (kurzhaariger), ein ungewöhnlicher Auftrag für den Veredler. Da das dunklere Unterhaar gegenüber dem weggeschorenen hellen Grannenhaar dadurch oben stärker zur Geltung kam, wurden die Tafeln und später die daraus gearbeiteten Pelze verlaufend nach oben immer dunkler.
