DescriptionStürzel windows.jpg |
English: Stained glass windows in the Stürzel Family Chapel in the Freiburg Minster, showing on the left-hand side (eastern half) Chancellor Konrad Stürzel von Buchheim (~1435-1509) behind his family coat of arms kneeling at the feet of Saint Nicholas and observing the Adoration of the Magi, and on the right-hand side (western half) his family members. Copy by Fritz Geiges from ca. 1920 after the original, which was produced in 1528-30 at the Freiburg workshop of Hans Ropstein using designs by Hans Baldung Grien and is kept today in Freiburg's Augustinermuseum.
