Deutsch: Darstellung der Freisinger Schutzpatrone auf dem Deckengemälde der Schlosskirche in Burgrain (15. Jh.), Landkreis Erding, erstellt vom Münchner Hofmaler Nikolaus Gottfried Stuber um 1722. Links der hl. Lantpert neben dem hl. Korbinian mit dem Bären. Engel halten ein Bild mit dem brennenden Freising, darüber der Domberg, der durch einen Nebelwall vom Feuer geschützt ist (3. Fassung des Nebelwunders). Weitere Schutzpatrone sind der hl. Papst Alexander I. mit der Papstkrone, der hl. Sigismund, König von Burgund, mit dem Wappenschild, Benediktinerabt Nonnosus und der hl. Justinus (als Kardinal). Die Komposition ähnelt der im Deckengemälde des Freisinger Doms von Cosmas Damian Asam 1724 (ohne Nebelwunder).
English: Depiction of the patron saints of Freising on the ceiling painting of the castle church in Burgrain (15th century), Erding district, created by the Munich court painter Nikolaus Gottfried Stuber around 1722. On the left, St. Lantpert next to St. Corbinian with the bear. Angels hold a picture of Freising on fire, above them the cathedral hill protected from the fire by a wall of fog (3rd version of the miracle of fog). Other patron saints are St. Pope Alexander I with the papal crown, St. Sigismund, King of Burgundy, with the coat of arms, Benedictine abbot Nonnosus and St. Justin (as cardinal). The composition is similar to that in the ceiling painting of Freising Cathedral by Cosmas Damian Asam in 1724 (without the miracle of the mist). |
