Summary edit

Description Another old photograph in the Railway Coastal Museum shows the station as it appeared in the 1920s. Called the Riverhead Railway Station, this building served as the headquarters of the now defunct Newfoundland Railway and was built in 1909. Love the row of taxis in front! Today, in St. John's, you hardly see any taxis running about- the town is so quiet. We did spot a couple of vehicles in a taxi rank in downtown St. John's though, one of which later went away for want of passengers. (St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, June 2015)
