Description St. John's Episcopal Church at 139 St. John's Place between Sixth and Seventh Avenue in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City were built in 1885 and was designed by John Rochester Thomas in the Victorian Gothic style; the chapel to the west was built in 1889 and was designed by Edward Tuckerman Potter.
