English: St Andrew's church. Although partially rebuilt and restored in the late 19th century, St Andrew's church > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1284035 has retained much of its Norman character. The medieval octagonal font > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1842842 is still in its original place, some old glass > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1842811 has survived in a window and a monument to members of the local Sheppard family > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1842832 can be seen on the chancel wall. The church is situated across the road from the ruined church of St Mary > 1284068. |
