English: Lime kiln at Port Gaverne - St Endellion.
  • The survivor, a second lime kiln has been demolished.
  • The limestone and culm were once imported on sailing vessels from south Wales. Farmers from as far away as Davidstow would buy the lime to reduce the acidity of their Cornish soils.
