Description
English: Bathurst is situated some 16 kilometres from Port Alfred, on the road to Grahamstown. This fine church was built by 1820 settlers. The foundation stone was laid in 1832. It repeatedly served as a place of refuge and fortification during times of war.
This media shows a South African Protected Site with SAHRA file reference 9/2/009/0023.
