| Description |
English: St Lawrence's Cof E School. On the end of Sandpits Road, East Hamlet (Ludlow "New Town"). This has not been a school since the 1950s, and was derelict for a long time after the move to Galdeford. It is now private housing. I remember visiting it on a school trip when the air raid shelter was still in the playground. The school has moved again in 1972, merging with Old Street School and is now just along Sandpits Road at Clee View. |
