Description
English: St Malachy's, Hillsborough. This large (capacity 600) Church of Ireland Parish Church was rebuilt by the Marquis of Downshire between 1760 and 1764 in the hope that it might become the Cathedral of the Diocese of Down. It is cruciform in shape, has a peal of eight bells and two organs, one of 1773 by Snetzler and the other by John Pike England from 1795.
