English: St Mary's and the ruined church of St Margaret's The towers of St Mary's (left) and St Margaret's church. The ruined St Margaret's church shares its graveyard with St Mary's; the presence of two churches within one parish is due to the existence of formerly two Antingham parishes, i.e. two different manors. By the early 18th century both churches had fallen into disrepair and permission was granted to use the stone of St Margaret's to repair St Mary's. |
