Summary edit

Description
English: Latin inscription on the Church of England parish church of St Mary, Warwick. It translates:

"The new church was built by charity, public to begin with, royal in the later stages, and was completed, under the happy auspices of Queen Anne, in the memorable year of 1704."

After the Great Fire of Warwick in 1694, the church was rebuilt and was finished in 1704 to Gothic Revival designs by William Wilson.
