Description
English: One of the Forty Catholic Martyrs who was noted for constructing priest holes of consummate skill in houses throughout England. After being subjected to extreme torture he revealed nothing to his inquisitors and died in the Tower of London. 2'11" Lime wood figure depicted astride a priest hole to disguise his unequal leg length, being carved in workshop by Denis Parsons.
