Description St Roberts Church, Pannal, North Yorkshire, England. Turret clock mechanism in tower - showing weight in corner of clock chamber. Mechanism possibly dates from 19th century. Measures over 3ft high and wide. Chimes on the hour using clapper against largest church bell. Clock weights and winding cranks removed some years ago, and replaced with electric motor, but main mechanism still working. 6ft pendulum causes tick of about one second.
