Description

English: Members of Der Stahlhelm at the 11th Reichsfrontsoldatentag ("Frontline Soldiers' Day") in Koblenz, Germany in October 1930. Speech by Theodor Duesterberg; also seen is Franz Seldte.
  • lamy.com: On the Karthause near Koblenz, more than 120,000 members of the Stahlhelm march up and hold a demonstration.
  • The ‘’Reichsfrontsoldatentag’’ was the annual mass event/rally of the Stahlhelm, Bund der Frontsoldaten ("The Steel helmet, League of front-line Soldiers"), a right-wing, anti-democratic paramilitary organisation in the Weimar Republic and Nazi Germany existing from 1918 to 1935. Since 1920, these federal meetings had taken place in Magdeburg and in other cities of Germany. The Stahlhelmbund was organizationally integrated into the Nazi Party’s Sturmabteilung (SA) under the name Nationalsozialistischer Deutscher frontkämpfer-Bund in 1934 and finally disbanded in 1935.
