The stamp is showing a view to an industrial plant in the shape of a blast furnace on a industrial area in "Moravske Ostrava".; Probably shows the central motive of this stamp a German: "Hochofenkomplex mit Winderhitzer" of the "Eisenwerke Wittkowitz" (German names) in the region "Moravian Silesia" southwestern of the Polish border.; During the Nazi-time belonged this industrial plant to the "Reichswerke Hermann Göring".; In this metallurgical complex were produced among others munitions for guns and artillery as well as components for the rocket "Aggregat 4" (= "V2").; 1942-1945 was this area expanded to the location "Ostrava-Kunčice" (= Germanː "Südbau") what was the basis for the later erected "Nova Hut" (German: "Neuhütte").; After 1945 was this areal integrated in "Czechoslovakian state possession" and produced metallurgical products under the name "Vítkovické železárny Klementa Gottwalda n.p." (VŽKG) until the 1960s as this areal was modernised with Soviet help.; To this stamp exists two different print plates I and II.
